Dr Haifeng WANG is director in international trade and investment and senior fellow at the Institute for International Economic Research (IIER) of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of P. R. China. His research interests focus on international economics, economic growth and regional cooperation. In past five years, he has published over sixty papers and articles in China’s journals such as Macroeconomic Management, International Trade, Contemporary World, China’s Finance, China’s Economic Trade Herald, China’s Customs, Qiushi and Outlook Weekly. He is also a regular commentator for China Daily and Xinhua News Agency. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from University of Bath, a MSc. in econometrics from University of Southampton, a MSc. in environmental science from Beijing Normal University, and a Bachelor in engineering from University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB).
