Joe is the India Director of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, a CEO-led organization of nearly 200 forward-thinking companies that work to make more sustainable businesses more successful.
Joe and his team in Delhi work to enable collaboration and accelerated action by companies for sustainability, in India and beyond. His focus is on core-business solutions in areas such as climate and water, improving the business case for sustainability, and driving collaborative efforts by companies working with other stakeholders.
Prior to joining WBCSD, Joe led the work of the International Business Leaders Forum in India. He established a life and job skills program with the hotel industry, ran a two-year anti-corruption program engaging companies across the country, and worked to promote sustainable business solutions that expand access to goods, services, and livelihoods for low income communities in commercially viable ways.
Joe has lived and worked in India since 2009 with his wife, who is a novelist, and their daughter. Joe plays and coaches cricket in Mumbai and Delhi.
