* Was part of highest decision making body of then ruling alliance of National Democratic alliance(NDA)led by the Prime Minister.
* 4 consecutive terms as Member of National Parliament, was part of all important committees and forums of parliament. Led many MPs delegations and recognized as the best MP.
* Was in co-operative sector at all levels, local to global, dealing with all types of activities and youngest ever chairman of largest urban co-op Bank in India.
* Worked at grassroots to bring a holistic model of development, low cost, participatory. Trained 56,000 poor for self employment. Now working towards 100000 more to be trained for being on their own.
* Is involved with several global activities in the field of Energy, Economy, Water, Agriculture, Governance, SMES, etc thus part of a large number of International organisations. Have been connected with several global networks for several decades. Was selected as Youth elder of Asia at IYY.

Working on integrated resource based development in rural atlas, for water, soil, people all agricultural inputs, using cutting edge technology. Compiled all Government schemes in a book form for the benefit of rural people.
* Introduced landmark legislation in power (Electricity Act 2003), Energy Efficiency law), In Environmental issues (Municipal Solid Waste, Medical waste, etc), in Chemical Weapons etc.
