Wang Huiyao
Director General, Center for China & Globalization

Dr. Wang Huiyao (Henry)is the Founding Director General of Center for China and Globalization and a Vice Chairman of China Overseas Returned Scholars Association. He is also a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and was a visiting fellow at Brookings Institution. He is a member of advisory board of Richard Ivey School of Business in Asia and a Steering Committee Member of Metropolis International. Dr. Wang has been a senior advisor to the Chinese government at both central and local levels. He was the Task Force Leader for Global Talents Strategy Study Group for Central Government of China and also served as an expert for the drafting of China Mid-Long Term National Talent Development Plan 2010-2020. Dr. Wang used to work for Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and responsible for Chinese firms going global. Dr. Wang has pursued graduate studies at University of Windsor, University of Western Ontario and University of Manchester, obtained his MBA and PhD degree in international management. He has taught as Adjunct Professor at Guanghua Management School of Peking University and Richard Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario. He has published over 40 books and 100 articles and papers on Chinese global talents, returnees, entrepreneurship and China going global.
